Effective labour relations are the foundation of a healthy, functioning workplace. As a mediator and arbitrator with extensive experience in unionized environments, I assist both management and employee representatives in navigating the complexities of collective agreements, workplace policies, and employment legislation. My role is to create a neutral, structured space where disputes can be addressed collaboratively, fostering solutions that balance operational needs with fairness and legal compliance. By engaging all parties in a transparent and respectful process, I help prevent escalation and reduce the risk of costly, time-consuming litigation or arbitration.

This includes grievance mediation between unions and employers, disciplinary arbitrations, interest-based negotiations, and dispute resolution related to workplace policies, scheduling, and staffing. I also support organizations with proactive conflict management strategies, such as restorative processes, coaching for union stewards and managers, and facilitated discussions around equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
