Our Fees
Our fee structure is designed to be transparent, fair, and reflective of the experience and expertise brought to each mediation or arbitration session. Fees are based on the complexity of the matter, the number of parties involved, and the time required to prepare and facilitate a productive resolution. This ensures that clients are only charged for the services they use, and that costs are proportional to the scope and demands of the case.

In addition to session fees, our structure may include preparatory work, review of documents, and follow-up activities required to support a successful outcome. We provide clients with a clear breakdown of all anticipated costs upfront, allowing for informed decisions and financial planning. Our goal is to maintain affordability and clarity while ensuring that the highest level of professional guidance and support is available throughout the dispute resolution process.

We also offer flexible billing arrangements for longer or more complex cases, including hourly, daily, or flat-fee options depending on the nature of the dispute. Where appropriate, we are happy to discuss customized arrangements to meet the specific needs and budgets of organizations or individuals.

Initial Consultation (30- 60 minutes)
The initial consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your dispute, outline objectives, and explore potential resolution options. During this session, we assess the circumstances, clarify the process, and answer any questions you may have. It is a confidential and informative first step to determine the most effective approach for your situation.

Mediation
Our mediation services are structured to provide flexibility and transparency in billing. Sessions can be scheduled as half-day or full-day engagements, depending on the complexity and scope of the dispute. Half-day sessions are ideal for matters that can be addressed efficiently or for preliminary discussions, while full-day sessions allow for more in-depth exploration and resolution of complex or multi-party conflicts. All fees are communicated upfront, ensuring clients understand the costs associated with each option and can plan accordingly, while receiving the full benefit of professional, focused, and impartial mediation guidance.
Half Day (up to 5 hours) $350

Arbitration
Our arbitration services are designed to provide clarity, efficiency, and impartiality in resolving disputes. Sessions can be scheduled as half-day or full-day hearings, depending on the complexity of the case, the number of parties involved, and the issues under consideration. Half-day sessions are suitable for straightforward matters, while full-day hearings allow for detailed presentations, evidence review, and comprehensive deliberation. All fees are provided upfront, ensuring transparency and helping clients plan effectively while receiving expert guidance throughout the arbitration process.
First Day (up to 7 hours) $850
Each additional Day (up to 7 hours) $550
Additional Particulars
*Nominal time for decision writing is included. If I foresee the need for extensive time to write a decision, I will advise. Extensive decision writing is billed at $60 per hour.

Travel rate $40 per hour plus transportation and lodging fees.
Retainer structure for individual clients:
50% of estimated fees due at contract signing. Payment in full is due 48 hours before commencement.

Cancellation:

10% - non refundable toward administrative costs.
90% - refund with 30 days or greater notice.
70% - refund within 30 days or less than one week notice.
60% - refund within one week notice.
50% - refund with 48 hours or less notice.

Our mediation and arbitration services require careful scheduling and preparation to ensure a productive session. To support this, we have a clear cancellation and refund policy. All cancellations will incur a non-refundable administrative fee of 10% of the total session cost, which covers the time and resources already allocated to your booking.

For cancellations made 30 days or more in advance, clients are eligible for a 90% refund of the session fee. If cancellations occur within 30 days but more than one week prior to the scheduled session, a 70% refund will be issued. Cancellations within one week of the session are eligible for a 60% refund, reflecting the increased impact on scheduling and preparation.
For last-minute cancellations, made within 48 hours of the session, clients will receive a 50% refund. We encourage timely communication to maximize refund eligibility and allow us to reallocate scheduling where possible. This policy ensures fairness and accountability for both clients and our mediation team while maintaining the quality and availability of our services.
